house. Medieval origin, extended and modified at different
periods since, and incorporating an inscribed stone, 'restored
1895'. Coursed and squared stone with slate roof.
EXTERIOR AND PLAN: 2 storeys, 3-unit plan with wing and
outshut projecting from present entrance front. Entrance in
angle with wing, backing on to stack inset in wide moulded
archway, with chimney breast corbelled out on upper floor.
Similar archway on same alignment in garden front, which has
blocked round headed openings and mullioned windows. Windows
in entrance front largely renewed in earlier openings. left
hand range incorporates barn or store with rough lintel over
window and doorway, and appears to be a later addition.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
