Railings and gates to underground public conveniences. c1900.
Cast-iron and stone. Enriched heavy iron railings with urn
finials and scroll-work. Stone piers over steps with arms of
city in low relief.
The railings and walls form part of the setting of the
adjacent statue of Samuel Crompton (qv).
