Terrace of 15 houses. c1840. Coursed and squared stone with
slate roofs.
EXTERIOR AND PLAN: 2 storey, comprising 15 single unit, double
pile plan cottages, most with 2 windows to first floor.
Painted stone architraves to doors, and flat arched painted
stone heads to windows, originally 4-pane sashes but many now
renewed in original openings. Severely moulded eaves, and
roofs raked up the slope. End wall stacks.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
The terrace forms part of the model factory community
established by the Ashworths of New Eagley Mill between 1835
and 1855 (Ashworth Lane and Eleanor Street, qv).
