Pair of gate piers. c1833-50. Sandstone ashlar, now painted
and stuccoed. Shaped plinths; shafts have indents to angles,
frieze, cornice and shaped cap. Approximately 2m high.
An integral part of a group of original piers (qqv) forming a
significant streetscape feature in The Park.
