2 terraced houses, now flats. Numbered right to left,
described left to right. c1806. Stucco over brick with
mock-slate roof, stucco left end and party-wall stacks.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys, 4 first-floor windows (2:2). Ground floor
has 8/8 sashes, first floor has 6/6 sashes and second floor
has 3/6 sashes where original; all in plain reveals and with
sills, those to left house with keystones. Entrances to right:
6-panel doors with fanlights, that to right has radial glazing
bars, that to left has batwing-and-circle type glazing-bars
and is in surround with engaged columns and broken pediment.
Low parapet and copings. Rear has 6/6 and 6/9 sashes.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
HISTORICAL NOTE: St George's Square was laid out from 1806
onwards on a field called Rack Close.
