Yew Tree House

House. Early C19. Red brick laid to Flemish bond; pyramidal
roof of slates and tiles with wide boarded eaves and large
brick apex stack.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with semi-basement; 3-bay front. Basement
sashes have wedge lintels. Eight steps lead to half-glazed
2-panel front door with panelled linings, fronted by porch of
two fluted columns supporting a moulded and dentilled cornice
hood. Ground floor windows are recessed sashes with glazing
bars in ogee moulded rendered surrounds with stone sills and
deep heads. Slightly shorter sashes at first floor level sit
on a narrow projecting sill band.
