Terrace of 3 houses with attached railings to right. Numbered
right to left, described left to right. c1810-30. Stucco over
brick with concealed roof, stucco party-wall stacks and
wrought-iron balconies, window boxes and railings.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys on basement, 9 first-floor windows (3 per
house). Stucco detailing includes horizontal rustication to
ground floor, first-floor band; fluted aprons below 6
first-floor windows at right; frieze to left with pediments to
left and centre, and cornice with blocking course to right.
6/6 sashes where original, all in plain reveals and with
sills. Right end entrances, 6-fielded-panel doors (upper
panels raised and fielded, lower panels flush and fluted) with
overlights with margin-lights. Basements have 3/3 and 6/6
sashes. Right return: horizontal ground-floor rustication,
first-floor band and 3 blind first-floor windows in tooled
architraves and with 2 further blind windows.
INTERIOR: noted as having retained original joinery including
panelled shutters to some windows.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: individual balconies to right,
first-floor, have embellished rod and central scrolled lozenge
motif; ground-floor window boxes at right have concentric
circle motif; area railings to right have scrolled lozenge
motif.
