Pair of semi-detached houses. 1853-4. Stuccoed. Interlocking
tiled roof, recessed projections on left of No.24 are hipped.
EXTERIOR: each has 2 storeys, attic and basement. Ground floor
has rusticated flanking quoin strips with flanking pilasters
to first floor. No.22 has within right recessed 2-storey
projecting porch, 4 stone steps approach 8-panelled recessed
door with open gable porch with shaped bargeboards, on first
floor 6-pane unequal sash. No.24 has within left recessed
projection a C20 lean-to 1-storey entrance porch with C20
doors, and over projection on first floor one 6-pane unequal
sash. On left of No.22 and right of No.24 rectangular bay with
tripartite timber mullion casements to front with flanking
pilasters, frieze and cornice band course. Each bay has plain
tile hipped roof and panelled aprons, 3 shortened mullion
casements to basement. On first floor each has two 12-pane
sashes each set within eaved stuccoed surround. Each has 1
dormer with 2-light casement with gable facing, projecting
verge and bargeboard. To left of No.24 projection has 4-pane
casement with 6-pane casement on first floor.
