House. Mid-late C18 with C20 alterations. Brick, mostly red,
in Flemish bond, with painted ground floor. Plain tile roof of
uneven pitch with brick end stack to right.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys and cellar; 2-window range of sashes with
painted reveals and sills, on 2nd floor of 3/6 panes, on 1st
floor of 6/6 panes with painted gauged brick flat arches.
Ground floor: on right, canted bay shop-window with mullions
and small-pane glazing; to left, 6-panel door with 3-pane
overlight; both under continuous leaded hood with boarded
soffit and scalloped metal fringe.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
HISTORICAL NOTE: formerly in use as a post office.
