War memorial. c1902. Ashlar, in Perpendicular Gothic style.
Three stage octagonal monument, second stage with open
arcades, buttresses and crocketed pinnacles, upper stage a
lantern with miniature flying-buttresses to base of drum,
buttresses and crocketed pinnacles, barred arched windows and
ogee capping with poppyhead. Upper and second stage arcades
have crocketed drip-moulds. Lower stage on 4 wide steps, high
plinth with bronze memorial tablets on each face.
