House and attached area balustrade. c1820-50. Stucco over
brick with concealed roof, end stucco stacks, cast- and
wrought-iron area balustrade and balconies.
EXTERIOR: main range of 3 storeys on basement, 3 bays, that to
centre projects and is canted to full-height, further narrow
recessed bay to left: 1:1:3:1 windows altogether. Continuous
moulded first-floor band. Main range: 1/1 sashes throughout,
those to first-floor are taller and have blind boxes; outer
bays have architraves and cornices on console brackets.
Central entrance, 2 roll-edged steps to 6-panel door with
overlight. Bay to left has 6/6 and 3/3 sashes. All windows in
plain reveals and with sills. Concealed basement.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: first floor, main range, outer bays have
balconies with heart and anthemion motif. Balustrade to roof
has lattice motif. Area balustrade has heart and anthemion
motif.
