Inn, later house, now flats. Built c1827 as a public house for
the Lovesays with later additions and alterations. Rendered
over brick with hipped slate roof and iron porch.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with basement, 4 bays with windows
arranged 3:1:3:1, further single storey with basement, single
bay to right. Full-height canted bays flank entrance; 6/6
sashes throughout in plain reveals and with sills. 4
roll-edged steps to 6-fielded-panel door with side-lights and
continuous overlight with decorative glazing in plain reveals;
wide trellis porch with lyre motif to frieze.
INTERIOR: 6-panel doors in fluted architraves; staircase has
fluted column-and-rod balusters and wreathed handrail.
