House, now flats. Early C19 with later C19 additions and later
alterations. Stucco over brick with slate roof and iron
balconies.
PLAN: 2 storeys with basement, main range of 5 first-floor
windows with service range of 2 further windows recessed at
right, and wing to front of this.
EXTERIOR: main range: steps to central Doric porch; within a
C20 door in round-arched surround. 6/6 sashes throughout, 4th
window to first floor is blind. First-floor band. Dentil
cornice. Hipped roof. Front and rear stacks.
Left return has sashes with margin-lights (renewed) to ground
floor and 6/6 sashes to first floor, with central blind
opening. Windows to both facades have individual balconies
with scroll motif. Range to right has 2 sashes with
margin-lights.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Occupies a good corner site and forms a group with Lexham
Lodge, Copt Elm Road (qv) and No.1, Greenway Lane (qv).
