Wine merchant's house. C17, built for Collier and Co. who
occupied these premises until a few years ago, front
remodelled probably mid C18, 1782 date on lead rainwater head.
Plastered front with moulded cornices (pseudo jetties)
dividing floors; steep dry slate roof; rear lateral stacks.
Deep plan including rear wings.
3 storeys; 3-window range. C18 paired hornless sashes with
thick glazing bars to upper floors; rusticated quoins to 1st
floor. Ground floor has moulded fascia interrupted by open
pediment of pilastered doorway right of centre with C18
6-panel door; stucco with channelled rustication left of
doorway flanking plate glass window and doorway with 2-panel
door (vertical panels) at far left; wide window opening at far
right also with plate glass.
INTERIOR: not inspected but former list description notes
concealed C17 fireplace.
