Memorial obelisk with statue. 1913, by Albert H Hodge. Dressed
stone and bronze. Square on plan. Monument with stepped and
moulded base with bronze panel to each of the 4 sides; tapered
obelisk with moulded entablature and stepped cap surmounted by
a bronze winged figure. The bronze reliefs depict aspects of
Scott's journey to the South Pole in 1912.
