Police station now in use as offices. c1900. Brick with
terracotta dressings and Welsh slate roof. Single-storeyed,
corner site resulting in triangular plan with curved angle to
left. Pilasters with foliate capitals carry continuous arcade
to front and rear. Casement windows to 9 recesses, and main
entrance to right with cornice hood carried on consoles,
secondary doorway to left. Cornice surmounted by open parapet
with balusters and solid piers at intervals. Steep roof
surmounted by iron brattishing, and octagonal spirelet over
angle, with iron corona and finial. Stack to rear left.
