Pair of houses. Early C19. Brick with stucco cornice and
blocking course, new rendered return to No.100.
3 storeys and basement, 2 bays each with further 2 storey,
1-bay entrance extension to No.100. Round-headed door with
fanlight to No.98 with fluted wooden pilaster jambs and mutule
cornice head; door to No.100 with stucco architrave and oblong
overlight. Gauged, flat brick arches to sash windows with
glazing bars, those to ground floor and basement in giant,
round-arched recesses. Ground-floor window to right of No.98
is blank. 1st-floor sill band. No.100 has cast-iron guards to
ground and 1st floor windows.
