Pair of houses. c1820. Yellow brick and stucco with tiled
mansard roof behind parapet. Wrought-iron handrails and
cast-iron supports to wooden entrance canopies.
3 storeys, attic and basement. Entrances on returns (No.21 in
Redcross Way). Original doors. Gauged, flat brick arches to
sash windows in stucco lined reveals with stucco sills and
1st-floor sill band. Mansard dormers and tall, central stack.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: area railings with urn finials.
Probably built to house senior employees from the nearby
Anchor Brewery (not included).
