4 Chest tombs approximately 2m south of chancel, All Saints Church

Chest tombs. Four, ranging in date from late C17 to early C18:
1) Chest tomb. Late C17 to early C18. Stone with moulded cornice and base with moulded end panels and pilasters on two stone steps. No inscription survives.
2) Chest tomb. Late C17 type. Stone with moulded top and base on stone step. Inscription on east side which is mainly illegible apart from a quotation from proverbs Chapter 10.
3) Chest tomb. Early C18 type with flat slab to top and moulded base. There is no inscription and two of the side panels were not in situ at the time of inspection.
4) Chest tomb. Early C18. Stone with moulded top slab with crest and inscription which is now illegible. Moulded plinth on stone step. Fielded panels and corner balusters. The east panel was not attached to the structure at time of inspection.
