GV II

Garden walls, gate piers and gates to Medelpad (qv). c1840s.
Local stone rubble walls, built up on the rockface in places;
smooth-rendered gate piers; cast- and wrought-iron gates.
Wall encloses Medelpad garden with garden gate off Dark Lane.
Very tall walls, one section rising to form one wall of a
small stable block in the rear yard of Medelpad; square
section gate piers with projecting string and tiered caps.
Gate has middle rail with frieze of roundels and ogee bracing
above; spear finials above the top rail.
