turnerised slate roof; stack with brick shaft to rear of

2-window front; low roofline compared with others in the
street. Ground floor has C20 plate glass shop window to right,
earlier shop front to left. This has a canted projecting shop
window to left with outer pilasters and a cornice carried over
the door to its right. Recessed half-glazed panelled door has
overlight and doorcase with sunk panelled reveals. Shop window
divided into three main lights by slender wood columns,
probably early C20.
To the left a moulded doorway paired with the doorway to No.45
(qv) which leads down a side passage to the court.
Rear elevation has 2 small-pane sash windows.
INTERIOR: roughly-chamfered crossbeam on ground floor with
slender exposed joists. Exposed timber-framed internal
