House with shop; now incorporated into No.23, the King's Head
Hotel (qv). Early C19 with later C19 and C20 alteration. Red
brick with pantile roof and no stacks.
EXTERIOR: 2-storey 2-window range. 6-panelled door right of
centre under gauged skewback arch. To left is a wide late C19
3/3 horned display sash to former shop. To right of door an
early C19 bowed shop display window with horizontal glazing
bars removed and replaced with 2 stiles and plate glass. First
floor with one 6/2 and one 6/6 horned sashes. Dentil eaves
cornice.
INTERIOR: opened into one room contiguous with No.23 and
fitted with false timbers.
