Gates and boundary wall. 1836, restored C20. Coursed millstone
grit rubble wall with semicircular coping. The wall curves
inwards in 2 sections to join 2 pecked stone gate piers at
entrance to Royle House (qv), and contains a drinking trough
set under a round headed arch. Repointed C20.
Included for group value with Royle House.
