Milepost. Early C18. Sandstone. Square post approx. 40cm high,
with inscriptions on all 4 sides: north side "Sedbergh / 2
Miles"; east side "Kendal / 7 Miles"; south and west sides
both "O[m?]on / 7 Miles" (probably an unidentified
abbreviation). Similar to milestone opposite junction with
Slacks Lane (qv).
