Field barn. Probably C18, with a later addition. Coursed
dry-jointed sandstone rubble with quoins and some
through-stones; stone slate roof. Rectangular 5-bay plan on
north-south axis, facing west. The west side has a
segmental-headed wagon doorway with long thin rubble voussoirs
and a stone slate drip-band, and to the right is an added
lean-to shed. The south gable has through-stones on 5 levels.
The east side has similar through-stones, a blocked doorway at
the south end and a square loading doorway above and to the
right of this. INTERIOR: low-pitched principal-rafter roof
trusses of heavy scantling, roughly hewn (the 2nd from the
north end inscribed "EF / 1728". Good example of its type.
