Field chapel. Dated 1869. Pinkish-red brick with stucco scored
in imitation of ashlar to front facade and left return; plain
tile roof. Single storey rectangular on plan with front porch.
Entrance within round-arched, multi-pane windows with
cast-iron glazing bars, the margin lights have coloured glass
where original; all in shallow reveals and with chamfered
brick sills. The bargeboards to front gable and porch are
broadly scalloped, with finials to the apex.
INTERIOR: simple bench pews remain. The reading desk is
raised, with steps to either side and a balustrade with turned
balusters to ends. There is plank panelling to the dado
throughout and a peg rail. The roof ceiled to the apex but has
two king post tie beam trusses with curved angle braces, on
corbel brackets.
