Walls and 2 greenhouses. Late C18 and C19. Brick walls with
ashlar coping. Walls run 80 metres south-west away from
Ashford Court with a bend, and return 60 metres to the north
enclosing approximately 2000 square metres of former kitchen
garden and incorporate segmental arched doorways and 2
greenhouses attached to walls. Greenhouse against the
south-west wall: 20-bay lean-to of glazed timber framing set
on brick plinth. To the north wall: 5-bay lean-to of glazed
timber framing set on brick plinth. Garden store to rear with
sloping lead roof on brick walls, round-arched opening at one
end incorporating boarded door with fanlight, reset C17
mullion window at opposite end with leaded lights. Included
for group value with Ashford Court and Stable block to
south-east (qv).
