Gates, gatepiers and wall. Early C19. Sandstone ashlar and
cast-iron.
Sandstone ashlar gatepiers, each with pyramid cap with cornice
on plain entablature. Rusticated shaft on plain plinth. Piers
linked by elliptical enriched overthrow.
Pair of cast-iron gates with swept double top and mid rails.
Plain bottom rails. Alternating long and short arrow-head
round-section verticals. Plain meeting and hinging stiles.
Wall extends 40 metres to north-east: coursed stone rubble
with roughly shaped rubble coping.
