Inn. Early C19 alterations to C17 core, with C20 extensions.
Painted brick with dentil course eaves, and timber frame to
rear. Old plain-tile roof of 2 pitches. Central brick ridge
stacks. 3-bay framed range with end bay extension to west.
EXTERIOR: 2-storey, 4-window range of 2-light casements with
the right end stepped up over carriageway entrance, outer pair
with brick segmental-arch lintels. 3 ground-floor C19 box bay
windows. Central plain door with projecting flat canopy.
Glazed panelled door to left of elevation in segmental-arched
opening. Carriageway to right with segmental-arched opening
and plain boarded doors.
Rear: to left, large brick segmental-arched carriageway
opening with 2-light casement over with brick segmental arch.
In centre is square-framed timber frame 3 panels high with
inset casements, raised eaves forming flat-roofed projection
with C20 casements and glazed door. Right hand covered by late
C20 painted brick single- and 2-storey flat-roofed extensions.
INTERIOR: 3 ground-floor bays, centre bay with inserted
first-floor of deep chamfered bridging beams with subsidiary
chamfered joists and cross joists.
