House, now divided into 3 residences. c1740 with late C19
additions. Brick laid to Flemish bond on stone plinth; steeply
pitched old tile roof with brick stacks. 3-unit plan, that to
left is C19 addition.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys plus attic; symmetrical 3-window range
with single-window addition to left. Plat band over ground
floor of original house and top modillioned brick cornice over
all. Entrance has doorcase with reeded pilasters and consoled
open pediment, fanlight over 6-fielded-panel door (probably
C20). Segmental-headed windows flanking entrance and to 1st
floor have horned sashes in flush frames, but that to ground
floor right is set behind reveals; late C19 hipped bay window
to left end; attic has 2 hipped dormers with iron opening
casements.
Rear has parallel range and partly stone rear wing and
re-entrant porch and two C20 doors; rear range has one
small-paned casement; left return of front range has bay
window and casement above.
