House. C16 with later additions and alterations, probably
underbuilding to first-floor jetty. Timber-frame with stuccoed
ground floor; steeply pitched old tile roof with brick rear
stacks. 2-unit plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 2-window range. Entrance to right end has
wide-boarded door with later fittings in doorcase under hipped
canopy on posts. Ground floor has two 3-light transomed
windows with small-paned casements with iron opening
casements, the sills, mullions and transoms are chamfered;
first floor has 2 windows with 3-light small-paned casements
with iron opening casements and some crown glass. First floor
has close-studded framing with arched braces to bay to left;
window to right has rail beneath, possibly to former window.
Rear has stone chimney with 3 diagonal brick shafts.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
