Formerly known as: Hobday's Mill (c1850).
Formerly known as: The Nether Mill.
Corn mill, now office. c1830 with conversion to office use in
1986. Brick with plain-tile roof.
EXTERIOR: south (gable-ended) front has 3-and-a-half storeys,
3 first-floor windows. Off-centre entrance with plank door. To
west flank is a 3-light casement window, to east a small
casement. Above, loading door with 3-light casements either
side. No windows above. Single hipped dormer, and
timber-framed and board lucarne. Single storey out-building to
west.
INTERIOR: c1830 corn milling machinery supported by framing
unusually constructed in cast-iron supplied by `R SUMMERS
MILLWRIGHT TANWORTH'. At first floor 3 grinding wheels with
hoppers remain. Exposed beams and rafters.
