Post office and houses, now 2 houses. C17 with later
alterations and C20 additions. Timber-frame with painted brick
infill partly rebuilt to centre, and brick to right end;
gabled thatched roof with brick axial stack and lateral
stacks. 3-unit plan plus cross-wing.
EXTERIOR: single storey plus attic; 3-window range with
cross-wing to right. Entrance to right of centre has plank
door in moulded frame; similar entrance to end of outshut to
right return. Varied fenestration with C20 renewed casements
throughout, including 3 eyebrow dormers. Cross-wing has single
attic casement and exposed tie beam and collar roof truss.
Right return has lateral stack and C20 brick catslide outshut
with window to gable, the outshut extending as rear wing.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
