House. C16 or early C17 with later alterations. Timber-frame
with roughcast front and some brick to return and rear; gabled
old tile roof with brick end stack and rear stack. 3-unit
plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 3-window range. Jettied first floor on
irregular brackets. Entrance has architrave to 6-fielded-panel
door (2 panels glazed). window to left has 4/8 sash, window to
right has 3-light small-paned casement; first floor has
central window with architrave to 2-light casement with tiny
light to right, and end gabled half-dormers with 3-light
casements with iron opening casements.
Rear has 3 brick gabled wings extending the width of the
building: 2 C18 wings with old tile roofs, one with large end
stack; large C20 wing to right has slate roof.
