Headstone to Edward Ford, d.1680. Ashlar. Nowy-headed stone.
Inscription panel has frame of foliage, fruit and roses with
cherub to top, which interrupts cornice; side scrolls with
drops of fruit; head has swag with cherub and 2 bows
supporting Father Time with hour-glass and scythe; small
jewelled panel to each side and cornice/hood over. Worn verse
inscription to back. A well-preserved example with rich
carving.
