Farmhouse, now divided into 2 houses. Early C19. Cobbles with
red brick dressing to windows and corners. Roof of tile.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys over basement, 3-window range. To left and
right smaller 2 storey wings of one window each. Round-arched
entrance, fanlight with decorative glazing bars, set under
shallow aedicule porch consisting of a pair of unfluted
attached Tuscan columns and entablature blocks with triglyph
frieze; pediment above of raking cornice with mutule blocks;
soffits of pediment decorated with fretwork; intrados of arch
and jambs to doorcase are panelled; 6-panelled door; arch has
architrave interrupted by plain keystone; brick quoin
dressings; roof of metal. All windows segmental arched; brick
quoins of ground-floor windows extend below sill to brick
course serving as base; all have projecting sills and 6 x 6
sashes of original design; interior reveals have panel
shuttering. Small brick wing built out to either side of front
with parapet curving upwards to main front; that to the left
has stucco dressings, that to the right brick. First-floor
returns have single window in the centre of a truncated gable,
left with cobbles and brick dressing, right stucco cement with
brick dressing. Pair of brick stacks to each end wall.
