Corner house, now shops. Late C18 or early C19. Brick in
Flemish bond, or possibly mathematical tile; stucco to left
return is scored to imitate ashlaring; irregularly laid up
flints with brick lacing courses to the gable on right return.
Roof of tile.
2 storeys and dormer. 3-window range. Elliptical-arched
entrance in the centre of the main elevation, its jambs
treated as half Tuscan pilasters; outer architrave with keyed
lintel. The entrance is set within an aedicule consisting of a
pair of Tuscan columns supporting an entablature block and a
pediment consisting of a raking cornice only. At the corner a
C19 shop front, much altered, and to the right of this a C20
polygonal bay of no distinction. All windows to first floor
flat arched with projecting sills. Entablature across the main
elevation. One C20, flat-arched dormer in the centre of the
roof. Brick stack to right end wall, much rebuilt in C20.
