Pair of houses. c1830 with later alterations. Pinkish-brown brick with scored facade, Welsh slate roof to left, cement tiles to right. 3 storeys with basements, 4 first-floor windows. Chamfered plinth. First floor: band, tall 6/9 sashes in plain reveals and with continuous impost band. Second floor has 3/6 sashes with continuous sill band. Ground floor, entrances paired to centre, 2 steps to 6-panel doors, that to left part-glazed, overlights with glazing bars, plain architrave and continuous moulded cornices. Tripartite windows with 6/6 between 2/2 sashes. Concealed openings to basement. End stacks.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: railings to left have bars with alternate fleur-de-lys and diamond finials.
HISTORICAL NOTE: Newbold Terrace was begun in 1828, but not completed for many years.
