House. c1831-1833, with later alterations. Brick with painted
stucco facades to front and side and Welsh slate roof.
3 storeys, 1 first-floor window. Ground floor: entrance to
right a part-glazed door with stained and etched glass. 6/6
sash with plain reveals, sill. First floor: canted bay window,
the centre a 6/6 sash, sides are 2/2 sashes with
margin-lights. Second floor: two 3/6 sashes, plain reveals,
sills. Raised gables with copings. End stack to left.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
HISTORICAL NOTE: Binswood Avenue was laid out c1828 and most
houses were built by 1834.
Forms an architectural group with Nos 4-10 (even) Binswood
Avenue (qv).
