Walls enclosing canal basin. Circa 1812. Sandstone ashlar, with sandstone saddle-back coping ramped up to higher levels and over gateway with round arch towards south end of Severn Road. Rebuilt in brick in places. The wall encloses the north and east sides of a canal basin which has been filled in. The basin was planned as part of the canal scheme for a third outlet to the River Severn at Stourport.
