Terraced houses. c1855. Stucco, roofs of slate.
3 storeys over basement with dormers, 3-window range. The
houses form a single, shallow, convex curve in plan. Ground
floor decorated with chamfered rustication. Broad, deep
flat-arched entrances in outer bays of Nos 4 and 6 and in
left-hand bay of No.5; moulded architraves, doorcase with
overlight and double doors of original studded design. All
windows flat-arched with moulded stucco architraves decorated
with wreaths; first-floor windows have a pediment on consoles
over the central windows and segmental pediments to the outer
windows on No.5, cornices to the outer windows on Nos 4 and 6;
bracketed balcony to first floor with cast-iron railings;
simple entablature above second-floor windows with modillion
cornice; stepped parapet; dormers in mansarded and hipped
roof; stacks to party walls.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Cast-iron railings with decorative finials flanking steps up
to entrances.
