Lychgate. Circa 1871; probably by Sir Arthur Blomfield. Openwork timber-frame structure on flint and dressed stone plinths, on which are set sole-plates and posts with curved braces supporting a 2-bay roof with arch-braced centre truss, open at ends and with collar rafters. Roof clad in clay plain tiles with band of blue scalloped tiles, crested ridgetiles and an iron cross on the ridge. Pair of wooden gates with cusped arch open panels.
