Offices. Mid C19. Stucco. Roof parapeted.
EXTERIOR: 3 storeys over basement. 3-window range. Italianate
style. All ground-floor openings are round arched and rebated.
The entrance is set to the left; the 2 windows to the right
have projecting sills above panelled spandrels. The ground
floor is rendered as banded rustication, forming vermiculated
voussoirs over the openings, the keystones of which, however,
are plain. Entablature band between ground and first floors
has a guilloche frieze and is topped by a plinth band just
below the first-floor windows. All the upper floor windows are
flat arched, and all have architraves; the architraves to the
second-floor windows are eared and shouldered. Each
first-floor window has a pediment supported by a pair of
console brackets; pediment to centre window is triangular,
those to the sides segmental. The second-floor sill band
consists of a guilloche and cornice. The entablature which
tops the elevation is variously moulded and has a bracketed
projecting cornice. The quoin strips to the first and second
floors, at the party and corner walls, are interrupted by the
second-floor sill band.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
