Pair of houses, now house and shops. Late C18 with later
alterations, including late C19 shop front to No.17. Red
brick, whitewashed. Welsh slate roof.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys; 4 first-floor windows. No.19 to right has
central recessed half-glazed panelled door beneath lintel,
flanked by single plate-glass shop display windows with sills
beneath lintels. No.17 has similar window to far left with
plain wooden hinged shutters, and a shop front with panelled
door, plain overlight and 2-pane plate-glass display window
with wooden shutters, in wood pilastered surround with ornate
carved brackets, frieze and cornice. First floor has 6/6
horizontal sliding sashes, and painted date 1794. Stepped and
cogged brick eaves cornice. Raised brick-coped gables. C19-C20
rebuilt end stack to right and ridge stack to centre.
