House. Probably mid to later C18; restored and greatly
extended to rear in late C20. White painted render on brick,
renewed thatched roof (wheat straw to front, reed to rear).
PLAN: unusual plan of 2 unequal single-depth units with
shallow outshut to most of the front, plus small extension to
left end.
EXTERIOR: single storey, with one very small window in each
end of the outshut, and a small one-light window to the right
of it. Low one-window extension to left. Gable chimney to
right. Entrance at rear, which now has a long rear wing in
similar style and materials.
INTERIOR: southern unit larger than northern, enlarged opening
in partition wall, and both parts open to the roof, which has
a pair of purlins probably made of a split mast.
Forms part of group of similar houses on this road.
