Garden pavilion, now cafe. Probably mid C19; altered. Painted
ashlar (roof concealed but probably asphalt). Classical style.
Rectangular single-cell plan.
EXTERIOR: single storey, with a plain frieze and dentilled
cornice with blocking course carried round. The north side has
a wide rectangular opening with broad pilasters and a pair of
Roman Doric columns in antis flanking a round-headed doorway
which has C20 double doors and a fanlight with radiating
glazing bars. East and west ends similar. C20 addition covers
south side.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
Forms group with Town Hall (qv).
