Threshing barn and stable range. Early C18 stable, flanked by
later C18 threshing barn and stable-granary; later alterations
and additions. Rectangular on plan, forms north side of
foldyard.
EXTERIOR: south side of threshing barn to left has
segmental-arched doorway with 3 ashlar hinge-blocks. Single
diamond-shaped breather above; 2 tiers of similar breathers to
left. Stepped eaves. Earlier 3-bay stable to right: central
door flanked by hatches with 3 panes above wooden louvres, all
beneath timber lintels; stepped eaves, steeply-pitched roof
with tumbled-in brick to raised gables. Stable range to far
right: 3 stable doors and single window to right beneath
segmental arches; rounded brick to right corner.
Right gable-end has pair of inserted segmental-arched double
doors, a cross-shaped breather and a pair of iron tie-bar ends
in the gable. Left gable-end to barn has single part-glazed
louvred hatches to each floor and a diamond-shaped breather to
the gable.
North side: threshing barn has later outshut to rear with
board doors and a boarded-up hatch, inserted C20 garage door.
Early stable has later outshut. Stable-granary has row of
small breather holes to ground floor, single pitching hatch
above with strap hinges.
INTERIOR: not inspected.
