2 terraced houses with later shops. c1808-11. By James Burton.
Multi-coloured stock brick. 4 storeys. 2 windows each.
No.61: wooden shopfront with Corinthian columns carrying
inswept entablature with dentil cornice. C20 "Regency" window
and shop door. Square-headed house doorway with cornice-head,
fanlight and panelled door. Gauged brick flat arches to
recessed sashes. Parapet.
No.63: C20 "Regency" shopfront with C19 modillion cornice,
left hand side with the bottom half of a herm type console.
Centrally placed at 1st floor level a free-standing group of
stone figures with a cornucopia. Stucco architraves to
recessed sashes, 1st floor with console bracketed cornices
with enriched friezes and later triangular pediments. Parapet.
INTERIORS: retain some original features.
