2 terraced houses.
No.54: probably c1739, refronted later C18. Ground floor
rendered, 1st floor painted brick. C20 tiled mansard roof with
4-light dormer. 2 storeys and attic. 4 windows. Central
entrance with wooden doorcase having Doric pilasters, dentil
cornice and pediment; panelled door. Cambered arches to
recessed sashes; ground floor with ground floor left with
shallow canted bay window. Plain brick band at 1st floor level
and to parapet.
No.55: possibly early C18, refronted early C19. Darkened brick
with tiled hipped roof. 2 storeys 2 windows. Painted brick
flat arches to recessed sashes. Parapet. Entrance on right
hand return, square-headed with C20 wooden hood, overlight and
panelled door.
INTERIORS: not inspected.
