The Lord Eldon Public House

Public house, probably originally dwelling. Mid C18, with C19
alterations and C20 addition. Brick with heavy slate roof.
Comprising baffle entry plan with doorway to right of centre,
and rear wing. 2 storeys, 3-window range. 3-light casement
windows throughout, those to ground floor added early C20 as
shallow projecting mullioned bays flanking the entrance, with
linking arch spanning it to form shallow porch. Axial stack.
